The Way of Silence - A Journey Inward
The Way of Silence - the modern pilgrimage to Jerusalem a 111 km path divided into six recommended stages. It is more than a physical route; it is a narrative of transformation. The way begins at Jaffa Port and ends at Jaffa Gate, Jerusalem.

The Way of Silence is divided into six recommended stages. The first two stages wind through busy urban streets. Amid the noise, the pilgrim begins to listen inward. Silence becomes a companion—not the absence of sound, but a deep presence. In the third stage, the hills of Jerusalem appear. On a spiritual hilltop, the pilgrim pauses: “What can I leave behind?” In the fourth stage, beside the Monument to Tolerance, a stone is laid down—an offering of release. Then, passing the Monastery of Silence, the long ascent to Jerusalem begins.
At the ridge, the pilgrim is tired and changed—but Jerusalem is still hidden. One more challenge awaits. The fifth day descends into the valley; the sixth climbs again. Slowly, the city rises—modern walls embracing ancient stones.
At Jaffa Gate, the pilgrim enters, touches what is sacred to them, and realizes:
The journey was never just about reaching Jerusalem.
It was about becoming ready to arrive.
